Our students loved Maya Azucena performance. She moved us with her storytelling acappella style as her video played on the background. She shared with us her passion for singing and what makes it so unique to her. She inspired our students to speak up for others when they feel they have no voice. The room was filled with her positive energy, she shared with our students what it is to be a real humanitarian. The students enjoy the opportunity to gather in a circle for a “cypher” as some took turn free-styling with Maya. Her visit was amazing and our students will never forget Maya Azucena.
